You're in perimenopause and want to know what to do before things start going sideways.
You're confused by all the talk about hormones, HRT, and bioidenticals.
You're on GLP-1s or considering them and want to protect your muscle, bones, and pelvic health.
You worry about staying strong and independent as you age.
You've ever wondered if you'll end up in diapers like your grandma.
You're leaking, constipated, bloated, or sex feels different, and you're wondering if this is just aging.
This isn't a debate about whether GLP-1s or hormone therapy are right for you. That's between you and your prescriber. I'm not a prescriber.
I'm a pelvic health physical therapist with 16 years of experience connecting the dots between what's happening in your body, how you feel, and how it shows up in your everyday life. I'll help you understand what matters, what doesn't, and what you can actually do about it.
Pelvic floor physical therapist for 15 years, dual board certified, and founder of Clarity Pelvic Health in Seattle.

Your pelvic floor runs your bathroom, your bedroom, and your boardroom. I've spent my career fixing all three.

"Navigating perimenopause felt overwhelming until I started working with my PT. She helped me understand how GLP-1 medications, hormonal changes, and prolapse can affect my body, and more importantly, what I could actually DO about it. I walked away with practical strategies I could fit into my busy life, not another list of things to worry about. I finally feel more informed, confident, and in control of my health."

"Dr. Darshana helped me understand how pelvic health connects to the rest of my body. Her explanations are clear, her advice is practical, and everything is tailored to what I actually need. I left with actionable steps to manage perimenopause, navigate GLP-1 changes, and protect my pelvic health, without feeling overwhelmed."

"Nobody wants a "surprise" hysterectomy, but that's exactly where I found myself this July. A full body scan revealed a cantaloupe-sized cyst on one ovary and a lemon-sized one on the other. Surgery was scheduled for just five weeks later, and I was scared.
To calm my nerves, I started researching and came across the concept of "pre-hab": measuring your strength and mobility before surgery, so you have a baseline to compare against during recovery. That led me to Dr. Darshana's TED Talk, and when she got to the idea of our "healthy holes," I was hooked. I reached out with only two weeks before the surgery, and they still fit me in for an assessment and one PT appointment.
I've now worked with all three doctors at the clinic. Each one is professional, warm, and most importantly, reassuring, exactly what I needed at a frightening time.
The work done in advance helped prepare me for a smooth recovery. I'm eight weeks post-surgery and doing great. I've kept up with my PT exercises and can't wait to get back to my daily exercise routine. I recommend everyone at Dr. Darshana's Pelvic PT very highly.
(I could add a photo to this review but...no. Next time you're at the grocery store just pick up a cantaloupe and a lemon and you'll get the picture.)"

"Dr Darshana is fantastic! Her knowledge about pelvic floor health is unparalleled and she explains everything so well it’s easy to understand. She was able to find some out of the box strategies to help support my family that were easily implemented. She has a talent for making super awkward conversations as normal as can be and we feel very comfortable and at ease with her. Highly recommended her and her team!"
